Strawberry Lemonade Paradise 🍋🍓

I am so mad at myself for waiting so long to make this combo again. It’s so yummy and light. My biggest recommendation is to take the lemon and squeeze it on the top to give it a tangy taste. I made these for my parents who just celebrated their 24th anniversary (married) and 30th anniversary together. They are indeed high school sweethearts and like these cupcakes they are sweet and tart! So to celebrate them,

To my parents-

Thank you for always asking what I want for dinner. Thank you for making our family have dinner together (with or without a table). Thank you for not allowing me to have social media at a young age. Thank you for introducing me to so much different music and TV. Thank you for always exposing me to all walks of life. Thank you for showing up to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF MY EVENTS (I remember you both only have ever missed one competition each and both were heartbroken). Thank you for driving 1.5 hrs to take me to private school. Thank you for always allowing me to get something when we went to the store. Thank you for allowing me to ask why (even in circumstances when “bc I said so” was more than enough). Thank you for listening to all my venting. Thank you for never leaving. Thank you for always being around. Thank you for always choosing one another. Thank you for putting me first. Thank you for showing affection in front of me. Thank you for showing me how to love the best way you knew how. Thanks for rubbing my head until I fall asleep. Thank you for all the times we laughed until we cried. Thanks for the games we played. Thank you for the trips we took (our “secluded beach” will always be a memory) Thank you for pushing me out of my comfort zone. Thank you for always being invested in whatever I am interested in. Thank you for smacking me when my mouth was reckless. Thank you for all the mistakes you made. Thank you for doing the absolute best you could. Thank you for being good parents. I love you. ❤️
