Let’s just say we ate that one 🎂

We did it! Yes, WE did that!!! According to @amazingcakeideas4u The Prison Bake has the World’s Most Phenomenal Cake Creation! I want to thank everyone who voted from the absolute bottom of my heart. Thank you especially to my family and friends for all their support throughout the entire process. My biggest thank you to the ones who sent daily reminder texts and updates on voting! 🫶🏽

I normally don’t celebrate things because I have this mindset that “I’m supposed to do it”, and that my accomplishments aren’t worth celebrating if there’s always something else to get done. I am quite literally in my head saying “okay that was cute but what’s next” and that’s my biggest strength but also one of my major weaknesses. Most of my accomplishments in school I didn’t do professional photography for due to that mindset, and missed out on capturing many magical memories. But after I received the email that I won, something inside of me stirred up and said “Go take that picture” Stop and smell the fucking roses for once. Shit, go get yourself some flowers for once. So I did. And let me tell you something… I will never not give myself flowers again 💐
