Domestic Violence Workshop: “Enough is Enough”

We are honored to support Domestic Violence Awareness Month by providing FREE plant-based baked goods for this critical workshop, hosted by The Legacy of HOPE Foundation, Inc. This event will address the many facets of domestic violence and offer valuable resources to those impacted by abuse.

At The Prison Bake, we believe in giving back to our community by combining our love for baking with advocacy for social justice. By participating in this workshop, we aim to raise awareness, foster a safe space for important conversations, and stand in solidarity with survivors of domestic violence.

Topics Covered:

• Power and Control

• Abuse Identification

• Barriers to Leaving

• Types of Abuse and the Plan

• How You Can Help

• What Can the Faith-Based Community Do?

• Proactivity and Resources

Keynote Speaker:

Dr. Maria Saunders, NNPD Volunteer Chaplain and Community Coalition Against Domestic Violence Member.

We’re proud to align our mission with this cause by offering complimentary baked goods and helping to facilitate meaningful change in our community. Join us for an evening of education and empowerment.
